Guest Service / Room Attendant

About The Role

This position requires flexibility along with a good sense of humour and a great personality. It's not always fun and laughter, you must also be willing to work hard and adapt to the high pressure and demands that come with this industry.

You will need to be available to work weekends and public holidays as required, and be on call outside of work hours, so we want someone who loves what they do!

Duties will include (but will not be limited to):

Job Duties

  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing

  • Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs

  • Windows cleaning

  • Provide detailed cleaning to whole apartment

  • Ensure all apartments are cared and inspected according to standards

  • Ensure clean towels are provided /replaced

  • Ensure all toilet/bathroom supplies are sufficient / refilled

  • Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms

  • Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste

  • Collect dirty laundry items

  • Conduct bed configuration / change linens

  • Realign furniture and amenities according to required layout

  • Check stocking levels of cleaning supplies

  • Check stocking levels of linens and bed accessories

  • Keep the stockroom/cage tiny and safe to access at all time

  • Prepare apartment “checkout” conditional report

  • Notify superior of “Lost and Found” property

  • Notify superior of any damages / necessary repairs

  • Record job detail and time sheet

  • Someone who is available to work over a 7 day a week roster
